the accident. but you have to slow down. eun. >>> danella, thanks so much. 5:03. angie goff has breaking news out of north korea. angie. >> president obama reacts this morning after north korea conducts a nuclear test. the underground test was confirmed after the u.s. geological survey detected the 4.9 magnitude blast. pong yong saying they did it to cope with outrageous hostility that undermines their country. a wave of reaction from world leaders since followed. president obama released a statement calling the test a highly provocative act. he adds, north korea's missile programs are a threat to the world and the latest test warrants swift action by the international community. happening right now, u.n. secretary general ban ki-moon who condemns the test is organizing an emergency meeting to start at 9:00 a.m. our time. meanwhile, south korea has come out to say the north won't be able to avoid grave responsibility and china also expressing firm opposition to the nuclear tests this morning. now, this is north korea's third nuclear test since 2006 and the first since kim jong-un took power.
